Yea! a new post!

Everett has the coolest job ever. Last week we took our friends, Kay and Jean, up to Upper Stillwater Dam in the Uintah Mountains. Because of the wet weather we are having they were spilling a lot of water over the dam. We went up to see the "waterfall" and boy was it gorgeous! It was just the perfect day for going. The weather kept changing and we had sunshine, rain, and lots of puffy clouds to look at. On the way back I was reminded of who was watching over us because a UPS almost hit us as he slowed down at a construction site. The road was covered in a fine dust from the workers and then it had rained a little bit and the result was a really slick roadway. He was coming from the other direction when he hit his brakes to stop but the truck didn't stop and he fished tailed for a long time down the road....almost hit us, almost hit 5 other cars, almost tip over several times, but miraculously ended up ride side up the side of the road where there was no construction at the time! It was very scary and something I'll never forget. Back to the dam. We did get a personal tour of it from one of the county workers. We got to go on top of the dam and look over the top! I was scared stiff but the kids and everyone else thought it was awesome! Here are a bunch of pictures from our day!

Neat photos and I'm glad that the truck didn't crash into you or anything else.
